On August 8th members of the Derry Public Library and St. Mark’s Lodge participated in a ribbon cutting ceremony to mark the opening of the new children’s space at the library which was donated by the Lodge.
The children’s space includes items such as kitchen, puppet theater and a costume chest for kids to enjoy and the area is ringed with bookshelves full of books to encourage reading as well.
