On Monday, February 23, 2009, St. Mark’s Lodge #44 F. & A.M. initiated three new members into the fraternity. The evening’s program went well and all enjoyed the fellowship both before and after the ceremonies.
As Master of the Lodge I would like to congratulate our newest brothers and thank all of my officers for the outstanding job they did. I realize that all of the officers are less than a month into our term and I appreciate all the hard work that went into the evening.
I would also like to take this opportunity to suggest to all that if you are considering becoming a Mason to stop by the Masonic Temple in Derry NH on March 28th, 2009 between 9am and 3pm as we open the building for those interested in the fraternity.
As always any Master Mason in good standing is welcome to attend our stated communication on the third Monday of the month at 7:30pm – next month’s meeting is on March 16th.
This past Sunday, February 8th, 2009 saw the installation of the 2009 slate of officers for St. Mark’s Lodge #44. The event was well attended and all had a good time.
In addition to the installation of the officers Wor. Richard Semaski was presented with his Past Master Jewel, Wor. Ed Younker was honored by being made Secretary Emeritus and Wor. Ronald Lague was honored with the General John Sullivan Award for his work in starting and promoting the CHiPs Program in New Hampshire. Congratulations to all those honored.
